Escala PL6460R server is the top-end Escala server based on 64-bit POWER6™ processors designed for critical and complex open Data Center applications. Equipped with ultra-high frequency POWER6™ processors in up to 64-core, multiprocessing (SMP) configurations, Escala PL6460R server scales rapidly and seamlessly to address the changing needs of today's data center. Escala PL6460R server benefits from the very latest developments in the Escala, server family, in particular « Live Partition Mobility » and « Workload Partitions ».
